Dan Skelton

Dan Skelton is a professional race horse trainer who has a history in horses dating back from a young age. All his life he has worked with horses and early in his career spent 9 years working with Paul Nicholls the champion National Hunt trainer. He is fairly new in the scene of horse racing but he is making a big impression with great success in the National Hun season. No trainer has ever made such a big impression in their first season which would of came with the help of the knowledge of Paul Nicholls and his father Nick who is an Olympic equestrian.

The facilities at Lodge Hill which is based in Warwickshire are some of the best in the industry. A big part to the success is down to the facilities and it’s very attractive for owners who can trust the team to take good care and get the best out of the horses. The team at Dan Skelton Racing boast a state of the art EquaFlow gallop track which gives a consistent ride to all horses in training whatever the weather. This is great for getting the best out of horses in training and it really does show when it comes to the track.

With Dan Skelton’s Dads history in showjumping it’s no surprise that Dan has become one of the best currently in the National Hunt. Along with the huge experience of Paul Nicholls is why his horses are at a very high level which can be seen from his results.

At the beginning of his career in horse racing Dan Skelton had a few rides as an Amateur jockey and did actually land a winner in his early days. Being a jockey just wasn’t for him, his heart was in training horses. The results come from the whole team at Dan Skelton Racing with quality and experience which really shows in every race.
